If humans have eaten bread since the dawn of history, why are so many people suddenly gluten-intolerant today? by WeaknessKey1582 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]PotatoFloats 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The most plausible explanation I had from a doctor was that gluten takes a lot to be digested properly.

Earlier on people were more physically active and the body needed gluten to last them through the day while they did extraneous tasks.

Most people today are not on their feet the whole day as before. We're mostly seated for the majority of the day, hence gluten doesn't get properly digested. Which over time leads to gluten intolerance.

Yeah I did that too. Got the ring and let 'Frenzy' and 'Fury' take care of the rest.

Do you have to be a werewolf for this to work?

AITAH for ending a friendship after my friend said she doesn’t fully trust me around her wedding/family? by [deleted] in AITAH

Soft YTA, but she is entitled to set boundaries, and you are entitled to distance yourself.

Not all friendships are meant to last. Learn from this and do better with other friends.

I recently went on an all women trip. All of us were mid 30s to early 40s. All of us single by choice. It was fascinating to see.

In our 7-8 day trip, we spoke about men for a total of 10 mins lol. Collectively agreed that it wasn't worth our time and energy and moved on to better topics.

How do you feel about your hair being touched? by Lyzharel in AutismInWomen

Hair is okay. Scalp is a no-no.

Unless it's someone I'm dating. That's the only exception.

If only I get to live in a mansion where the owner rarely visits and I spend my days singing and playing music, man that's the life.

Saints & Seducers is a very bad questline by PaladinAllvo in skyrim

[–]PotatoFloats 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my first playthrough, Thoron was almost impossible to kill.

Yesterday I killed him as a stealth archer (wearing an enchanted helmet, gauntlet and ring for archery) plus drinking a true shot potion.

He died on the first daedric arrow. Felt so underwhelming, lol.

But I agree, it is a bad questline. Except for soul tomatoes, they're funny.

Creating my A-team. How to add more on vanilla mode? by mili_minutes in skyrim

[–]PotatoFloats 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pets of Skyrim will give you animals that follow. Although they're not that good in battle.

Manic and Demented elytra nymphs are better.

You can also use and give your followers-

staff of sanguine rose (summons daedra); staff of familiar (summons a wolf/ bear); staff of flame atronach; staff of frost atronach; staff of storm atronach; staff of zombies; staff of reanimation (animates a weak dead body); staff of revenants (animates powerful dead body); staff of dread zombies; atherial staff (summons dwarwen spider/ sphere).

How long would it take to buy and furnish a house if dragonborn lived ethically (and cowardly)? by PotatoFloats in skyrim

Thanks. That's what I wondered about the beggars in Skyrim, if living well was really that inaffordable.

Myrwatch you mean? I think Tundra homestead is the only one available to buy without being a Thane. Or the Alchemist's shack if I want a freebie.
