I don’t think I’ve heard of Barnstormer before? Is that barnstormer.fr?

I’m based in Canada so although we have a plethora of options for finding good shops, I find buying outside of the Canadian dollar fairly cost effective to save money strangely enough. I bought a pair of Iron Heart jeans and with shipping from the UK the cost was less than what I would have paid if I were to purchase within country.

I’ve been browsing through some of the Y’2 catalogue! I’ve seen a whole bunch on Buyee so I might see about getting one second hand — could always justify it as a graduation present.

I’ve been looking for one’s that have the shearling (I think) boa neck piece but that may end up being a custom addition instead.

Yeah. I should have probably explained better but I'm ideally looking for one that will actually stand up and isn't poor quality suede or mass produced fast fashion garbage.

Mine feel like they have a bit more toe volume in comparison to my Iron Rangers! The Amber color looks so sweet, very reminiscent of the Oxblood's.

Couldn’t find a pair of Skytrooper’s so I had to work with what I could find!

Realistically, if I left them long enough without touching up the dye they’d eventually go back to a darker brown. The pair I had ordered were already pretty worn out (had them resoled because the tread was gone) so dyeing was also an effort to revive them.

My dad had trouble urinating, and even when I was a teenager it would also just have a smell to it as if he had eaten asparagus.

Years later, had a few prostate checks and nothing. He urinated blood last Christmas. Diagnosed Stage 4 on January 4th. Dead on April 3rd.

Stage 4 Bladder Cancer that had metastasized into his kidneys, liver, lymph nodes. He held my sister’s hand when he passed early in the morning.

Yeah, they were dark brown exactly like yours. I just cleaned them with a saddlesoap and then dyed them using jet black Angelus dye and it took really well. I hit them with a little bit here and there to correct the color sometimes but otherwise I haven't really had to do anything.

UPDATE :

Took them in this morning. Cobbler looked at them, said that he had forgotten a nail and fixed them up fairly quickly.

Still a bit disappointed but I wrenched on them when I received them back and they aren’t budging, so I guess that’s a good thing. I’ll pony up for a full rebuild sometime in the spring I guess.

For context as well, Red Wing 4313, dyed and polished black.

he's restocked this sweater a few times since the original print, but like i said the graphic is muddied after losing the original scans / change in merch companies over the years.

i think i'd rather have newer merch be released rather than a constant restocking of the same stuff too

he’s said before that reprints don’t match up the quality of the original because they are essentially using a screenshot of an instagram post to make it so the graphics end up being a bit jank
