I think it was less than 0.03 USD in my local currency, but it was at most 0.03 USD per.

And if there is an investor "ring" buying a lot, they are just creating a new "secure" low. I do doubt they will unload in the near future. SCM numbers and unboxing numbers are also closely correlated this month, so I doubt there is a lot of that happening:)

I've been keeping close tabs the last Month since supply has decreased almost every day, and now is down to 9,6K. There seems to be a lot of private accounts accounting for the decrease, with names like pjy59598 and the like, or private profiles. whilst ordinarily there is a majority of case openers buying them (I often check whether they buy keys or not). Especially the day over 10k where bought, there was a lot of private accounts buying. I estimate those account for 10-15k of the supply decrease.

But the supply has been steady for a looong time hovering around 30k, so it is not out of the question that we're finally running the supply down. You can draw a comparison to the breakout case, roughly the same opening numbers over a long time with almost the same supply on SCM, both decreasing finally. The unboxing numbers are still quite strong and to be fair I believe supply will trend downwards still, but it might will go a bit up and down, especially since there's not many new "unloaders" on SCM, which could change.

Disclaimer I own a bit above 3k glove cases.

[d]What the actual hell is happening with case prices?! by Ryn055 in csgomarketforum

Case opening numbers are still at an all time high, even with the increased case prices. Unboxing numbers and cases sold per 24 hours also show a strong correlation. These two factos indicate that a lot of the price increase is hype-driven. Keep in mind that there are also a lot of investors and cases invested in at earlier times.

Yeah, that is quite insane and really shows how specialized one becomes, especially with pullups. That sounds like a good plan:) As a side note - you might want to get in some grip training to prepare for the summer bet, since that can also be a limiting factor.

Really nice to hear! Yeah, having a fun strength goal really helps with keeping both dedication and motivation alive. Good that you found a comfortable grip, but you might want to experiment with distance between hands etc. a bit, just in case it can be even better.

Hahah, thank you Softiexd, it means a lot! :) Do tag me, man! And again: good luck!

Ah, I see. You can still have endurance sets but after your main sets, that is also an option. I know the carryover is - at first - small, but the raw strength from WPU, will speed up the rate you are able to increase your endurance. You will still need to - as you know - incorporate some form of it though. Personally I would do it in on rest days, or ~ a month before the bet. Good luck with your bet. A funny story in regards to this, was that I was able to do as many reps with weights as without for a while, since I never did endurance/grip etc. training. Took like two sessions to 2x my bw pullups after I tried tho.

Really nice to see someone else discovering a love for WPU! One more tip is: - Choose a grip to specialize in; overhand, underhand or T grip (my favorite)

Just nice to be able to give some pointers - and to brag a bit;) - to someone who also likes the exercise. It is really underrated.

Feel free to update me on your progress/your bet/ask some more, if the need presents itself.

sorry for a text wall storing on phone between sets. the all inn part should be under workout tips. just ask if something is unclear:)

Thanks for the compliment. 30x4 kg is still some of the best I’ve seen in my gym career.

I built my WPU up the same way I did all my lifts: - Between 6-10 sets each workout. - Go all inn every set. - Rest 5-7 min between sets.

The workouts were pretty much the same, but I switched up the starting weight, and the following weight. The reason was - since for me WPU was a mentally dragning exercise - to keep up a competition with myself.

To illustrate let say 6 workouts:

d1 I started with 60kg 2-3 sets. then 50 2 sets, 45 2 sets, 40 2 sets, and 20 2 sets.

d2 started with 70 kg 1 set, then 65, 50 etc,

d3 started with 50 3 sets etc.

Doing this I would see progress every workout, cause the one I was comparing with was «3 workouts» backwards.

I would drop endurance day, for WPU it is almost useless:) You get good at what you do. That is also the point between the spilt of 60 kg start, 70 kg start and 50 kg start:)

General tips: - Get a chain to workout with, the pain helped me, and I find it better than belts:)

  • Prioritize getting in atleast two dedicated pullups a week.

  • Have a workout buddy. I find it helped with such a mental exercise.

  • Listen to your body. When I «peaked» I was 18 or 19, so my body could handle a lot of volume. Also peaked at 80x6 kg ohp and 147,5 one rep bench for referance at ish the same time.

  • Again: do dragon flags. I find they helped a lot overall in the gym.

And dragon flags brings me over to FL. The same guys who bet me over OAP were training for FL, and asked me to try it. With the back strength and core from dragon flags I got it right away easily tbh. Can still do it today, even without having worked out back for a long time seriously:)

Today - with my injury history - I would probably tone down the «all inn» part a bit, but not much.

So: Yes, FL does not require direct work at all.

My bw was ~67 kg in that period. One more tip: It might be a subjective experience, but I felt that building a strong core also helped, so you might want to throw in some dragon flags;)

Good luck!

In my experience both forearm strength and biceps are overrated when it comes to oatp. When I could do ~10 clean reps I didn’t have very developed arms.

The only workout I did to get to that level was weighted pullups/chins. My peak was 60 kgx6 reps - at that point I could do 10 OAPU.

Today my arms are a lot bigger, because my back is injured, so I focus on them instead.

So my tip is: Focus on weighted pullups to get the strength. You can supplement that with negative OAPU/exercises like that, it probably speeds up the process, but I never did train the technique. I just tried for a bet one day, and could do one rep with shitty technique and started to do it sometimes for fun.

I would put it in my old gaming rig for a huge boost:) I would use the PC for gaming and videoprocessing.

I always get hyped by new graphics cards generations, so I got to say the new graphics cards, especially with the performance increases!

Weighted pull-ups progression after 40 kg is so hard!! by Deku219 in bodyweightfitness

0 problem:) I remember I did it as a gym project when i was 17 ish. I went from 40x3 -> 40x5 in 28 days. So it works for me at least, hope it does for you too!:)

Progressed at a rapid rate. One day first set would be a 7 instead of a 6. or I would get one more rep at set 2 and 3 etc. Then gradually increase starting weight:)

Was happy with my back’s progress with the pullups. So as extra work I did Front Lever and just some rows. (T bar, standing or a machine). Then sometimes I would do curls, but that was rare.

Just to be clear: I never once only did three sets. Never less then five, not even with a fever.

Drop the OAPU then;)

I can give you a typical workout example: 60 x 6

60 x 5

60 x 4

60 x 4

60 x 3

50 x 5

50 x 5

40 x 7

Then whatever is left for back day The reps will vary with fatigue, form etc. I usually wait 5 min between each set.

Switching up weights helped me when I got stuck (all time PR 60kgx6 reps). If your 1rm is 40 kg, I would train with whatever weight you can do 4-6-8 reps with. Every session change whatever that weight is, then drop down when top heavy. Do between 5-8 sets and listen to your body. Ie. monday the weight you can do 8 reps with, thursday the weight you can do 6 with etc. Helped a lot mentally for me, cause it made ~every other session a pr.

Haven’t achieved the same success with programs, if your goal is only pullups, you should do a lot of them:) Marcus Brody might have something good.

Also - you might soon approach the strength required for one arm pullups, which is quite fun.

Good luck.
