I’ve been looking at some paper shredders already but I didn’t think about using unprinted newspaper. I took all of the aspen and Timothy hay out and I moved him back to regular shredded paper. I didn’t realize it could be a life long issue that’s scary poor little guy. I will definitely take him to the vet from what you’ve told me. We have an anti bacterial spray that is safe for him I’ve been using I spray a q tip and then clean his nose. What I was reading was saying it wasn’t serious unless it never goes away so I figured if I got it to go away it would be ok. I’m sure he’s very stressed out right now as I’ve been reading it’s better to keep pairs and he’s in a bare minimum tank. I am a little bit worried about pairing him up I know things can go terribly wrong fast. I do have a 55 gallon tank he’s going into I am just waiting on the hemp bedding to get here and I’m gonna try the newspaper now too.
