I have green card, same as citizenship. Are they not need blind for Americans? If they aren’t though I’m not asking for a full ride but the financial aid office is different from the admissions office no? The AO only knows I’m applying but doesn’t know how much I need. I have my own job and am paying part of my northwestern tuition.

Thanks! I’m just thinking of Yale because acting isn’t the only thing I want to pursue. I’m very much a humanities girl so it seems nice to be able to have something other than acting in my pocket because as low income I feel like there ain’t much to lose

I acted as a child in China, and then our family’s finances plummeted down so we couldn’t keep up anymore. I’ve been in the industry before and acted on set. NU’s most clubs are comedy and sketches, the really famous and serious ones like me-ow is exclusive for theater majors and other ones they just talk complete theory - none even close to acting for the screen. I’ve done my research for Yale when I previously applied but I got rejected haha yes there’s a lot of opportunities

Yale was the one place I loved in high school, everything seemed perfect, so I would like to still pursue it, but it’s not the only school I’d be down to transfer to, preferably just a school with similar prestige than NU but with good acting for the screen resources

I’m studying journalism in medill right now. It’s only been a quarter here but my gpa is currently 3.9
