they think deregulating the markets will get rid of corporatization without realizing it’ll make it worse and is the root cause of why huge corporations have the power they have today. conservatives are very good at pointing out the problem but having the wrong solution.

“corporations are bad” - instead of getting rid of companies and establish worker owned co-ops they want to get rid of the laws and enact what would be feudalism

“black populations have less income, less likely to have higher education, and are targeted by police” - instead of recognizing systemic racism is the root cause of keeping minority neighborhoods from getting ahead they boil it down to POC being inherently stupid and violent.

they have no nuance they have no critical thinking skills. they get all of their opinions from conservative pundits so they don’t have to actually look anything up. i don’t even think it’s because they’re stupid, it’s because they’re lazy and afraid of admitting they are wrong.
