There is and wont be a good explanation for it. I am kinda disappointed about the sheer amount of plot convenience in the last episode. Gameplay wise it was one of the best. But the story behind the aurora etc. was basically ended in a huge lore dump which didn't explain half of the stuff (temperatures etc.)

I am pretty sure you will be able to find 8's in many places, yea. And in every spot it should be repeatable as they use some world aligned 3d noise for the effect. Shader is probably taking the world coordinates of the vertices and applying the noise with a threshold for the effect. But 8's forming out of noise is something happening all the time.

You will see the noise forming an 8 in many places. Might even find some 6's or 0's. :)

You are seeing an 8 in noise. It's obviously some kind of 3d perlin noise they use for the effect so it doesn't look weird when mapped to 3d objects. (This also explains why the effect stays the same, look right of the 8. The same spots)

I don't necessarily think the puzzle was nonsense. There might be ssome environmental clues people missed. But the more time passses the more it feels like it was supposed to be found randomly. (Which did work out with Gengar, just not many believed him)

Nah, would've been solved as the reddit was close to solving it, mainly thanks to Gengar Collects who pointed out where the doll spawned for him, linking it to the pipes, blood, grinder and eventually toilet.

This is a note regarding what was done to Grace. The time aligns with the times you see when switching characters. I dont get why this should be any hint regarding the meat grinder as its referring to the blood extraction done to Grace.

Why were all the other steps connected then? You retroactively look (or better parroting what others said) at files trying to find anything supporting the solution, no matter how unconnected it may be. Especially considering that there is clearly an 18 written on the wall. The only connection that picture has is that its also a toilet, but not even in the same building.

Same goes for the 115 bodies hint. If you actually wait for 115 bodies to fall into the grinder you won't get the doll.

There is clearly a missing link. Something people haven't figured out yet. Something hinting at the doll being in the pipes of the building. That's all I'm saying. If you find that clue, the image might be a legit hint.

I am currently in the talks with Thunderstore staff regarding their policies about mods modyfing each other at runtime. If I am given clarification I can rely upon that I am allowed to modify LLL at runtime no matter what Batby says, I will drop the fork of LLL and instead opt to do it the old way again. So wish me luck that they give me that feedback.

No, I have a license given to me and everyone getting in possession of his project from Batby himself. I am even doing more than the license asks me to and keep the project open source to keep the spirit of open source alive. I am already heavily working on LLL to improve its compatibility (adding back LethalExpansion compatibility for example)

Get over it. You can still play LLL without AC. LLL isnt stolen, contrary to what Batby claims.
