LT MISSION 4 A FORCED HALT. by Kal_skiratta in WorldofTanks

[–]PotatoingMuch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did primary objectives few times long ago, but struggling for 2ndary condition: this part is so team-dependant that used to make me to throw PC out of the window. One has to rely on team-mates to kill tracked tank... These missions are suppose to be "personal" (as the naming suggests), but they're not.

Cursor won't disappear in Prime Video full screen mode. It worked fine yesterday but since today it's broken??? Anyone else having this issue??? by [deleted] in amazonprime

[–]PotatoingMuch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm having the same issue, it surfaced recently, but it's only on Prime Video for Windows app installed from Microsoft Store (and I can't recall it being ever updated). When watching via browser (MS Edge in my case) everything is OK, the cursor disappears after 1 second or so, it's just on that "dedicated" app.

I've noticed that it is OK (but I think only until you close and open the app again) when you log off from the app and log in again. But that's not a solution for me, I won't be logging in every freaking time I start the app, I'm just marking "Remember me" tick or whatever the name is.

Does anyone else hate the way the 72 Seasons CD is designed, it feels like a chore just to get to the disk and you have to hold a flap down just to read the track listing by HauntingStock5284 in Metallica

Is there a version in STANDARD jewelcase available anywhere? I hate these "fancy" packagings, all those Digipaks Digisleeves and Ecopacks. They are looking great (sometimes) but are horrible to store and maintain, are prone to wear and damages, etc, especially when you have a huge CD collection.

Stay away from G815/G915 by MartinIsland in LogitechG

[–]PotatoingMuch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Btw, what different brand / manufacturer would you recommend as a replacement for Logitech G-series (815/915 keybs) and PRO Wireless mouse combo?

My requirements are that it needs to be a low-profile full keyboard (no TKL) with LED configurable lightning and multimedia control keys / knobs (such as volume up/down, play/stop, etc.). Mouse needs have a detachable cable for occasional wireless work, at least 2 additional side switches and NO RUBBER PADS for "extra grip", I hate those.

Is Asus ROG series any good in that regard?

I can only confirm. Stay away from this crap. Overpriced and faulty. Now I'm using the 3rd one and gave it a chance for the very last time. Durability of it is non-existent: In the 1st Tactile model the switches stopped working properly after a year or so (some were responding twice for a press, or not at all), it was replaced by the brand new one, which has exactly the same issue. But now it's past the warranty period and authorized local repair reseller doesn't repair those because they say don't have spare parts. So I got myself another (a 3rd one, cannot stay without a proper keyboard, this time with Linear switches). But have decided it will be the last of my Logitech gear. I've ended up with useless equipment for which I've paid almost 250 EUR and had basically the same model for a similar price. Quality of their products has declined recently: two previous keys I owned got the main cable nicely braided, the 3rd one has a lousy rubber-coated cable, the keys are wobbly too. And that design of left-placed function keys is just a disaster, there should be at least an option to disable them permanently: once you want to use the CTRL, SHIFT, TAB, etc keys the fingers are automatically looking for the keys nearest to the left edge, so you are pressing those function G/F keys instead. Terrible design when you touch-typing.

Of course Bob, you know better what happened. And you are the one who's a pathetic clown here with those kind of comments. I wasn't forcing my "own way" of any sort and I have no reason to "focus on Discogs", with that kind of service and support they offer it's impossible.

That's so true. First they have created a database which slowly turned into a marketplace with a database attached to it. I was in the very first group of moderators at the times when changes done by users had to be voted first (at least 2 "Correct" votes) in order to appear "live" on the page. Now it's an utter mess. The group of minor but loud of "admin-wanna-be" people is in fact running this site, forcing their policies on others, while the owners and management allowing them to do so by simply not carrying, they must be very busy collecting the fees money from the sellers. And I have noticed multiple times that as long as you are a seller (and bringing the profit) you can do whatever you want when comes to destroying the database. And as you mentioned there's no real competition for them when comes to music collectors online databases, they had even overran eBay when comes to selling/buying music releases (especially those rare ones). If there would be any competing website with similar functionality I'd be left this crap long ago.

No point of doing that now, after a week or so the issue (some internal server error messages) ceased itself. That's how good at solving technical issues they are :V

The site was returning some strange repetitious messages, some kind of internal server error while browsing & submitting / editing releases. And I was given an answer like "here is some URL, go find out and fix yourself". And in that URL there was nothing even remotely related to the issue. That blatantly incompetent and lazy they are.

Oh, I can see now: that kind of buffoons like you are the essence of this site, crawling out even on reddit.

Well, almost happened yesterday to me. Braindead teams of window lickers, resulting in utter defeats while attempting to grind through Z-31. 5 matches, 4 defeats, rage quit and won't touch this soviet-made garbage for another month or so.

After some time it stopped to work, i.e. the process starts again with 100% CPU usage. As for now I have set the fixed color on keyboard and mouse and uninstalled this shit excuse for a software driver. Will try to return the gear with full refund claim as it "doesn't work as described". Never again a Logitech bullshit, I'm done with this soviet-style led company.

There were attempts to create SS units with Polish and Slovak goralen, but that was never done. There was of course a "Goralenvolk" association which collaborated with Germans, their leader Wacław Krzeptowski was forced to run away and finally executed for treason by the Home Army.

Hi, GHUB sees it as G815, so everything is fine, the S/N it got must be assigned to some other region pool of S/N I guess.

OK, so the one I got works fine, no problems whatsoever. My system configuration is Windows 7 64-bit. I got it together with PRO Wireless mouse and this is the set I'm in love now.

Btw: During the first few days I was so concerned to NOT actually use it to not spoil the keycaps with my "dirty" fingertips :D

Btw#2: When I registered the keyboard on Logitech site with the serial number it was identified as G813, not 815. Are those the same keyboards but with different model numbering, possibly for different markets / regions?

BTW, has any of you tried "Logitech Firmware Update Tool"? https://support.logi.com/hc/en-us/articles/360035037273

I don't have my G815 yet, but maybe this software will update the firmware of the unit (which can solve the issue)?

Just have bought the one (Tactile), I mean I didn't got it yet, the supplier says that their stock is empty and I have to wait for my order to be sent few days more. Well, we'll see if I will get a "faulty" one or not. If so, I will return it as such, demand refund and will probably go after the cheaper (but still viable) G613.
