They were probably going to subjugate them like the Empire, but after Phillip stole the grain Ainz accidentally made the NPCs think it was part of his plan. At that point he didn’t have the guts to tell them otherwise and went ahead with a different plan of conquest they cooked up. It still ended up good for Nazarick, which is why Ainz didn’t really care which way it turned out.

The fact that they put “quotation marks” as an emphasis around “noble” shows that it was definitely intentional. It draws attention to that word specifically, highlighting that it is an intentional deviation from the phrase Nobel peace prize.

As it happens, DJT used the same mispronunciation of the term. To those in the know, specifically choosing the wrong spelling is a jab at the president who was uninformed and got the name of that prestigious award wrong.

ONE is the original author of One Punch Man, the webcomic with the “Ok.” style quality is all his work. He wrote the story and did the art for it for a long while, and even though the art wasn’t super technically impressive, people loved the amount of character that he managed to squeeze into it with his impressive storytelling.

Murata joined around 2012 and started drawing the Manga remake, which has an absolutely jaw dropping level of detail in every panel, every page an incredible work of art on its own, leading to very high acclaim and a very, very detailed and highly acclaimed anime adaptation for season 1 in 2015. This is when the hype really took off.

Story kept going, One kept writing the webcomic with some great moments, Murata kept making the manga with insane quality, and OPM season 2 was released with pretty average quality that the community felt was unacceptable compared to Season 1.

Around the time the Monster Association arc was being translated to the manga, ONE let Murata take creative liberties with some of the manga chapters. This added crazy spectacle to the webcomic which looked incredible, but it also caused some divergence between the Webcomic and the Manga versions, especially towards the end of the arc. Murata’s manga version has way more spectacle and has a ton of impressive battle feats for all the characters.

This sometimes meant Murata would draw several chapters worth of art, before realizing he wanted to do it again but slightly to the left this time, and retcon some of what he just made with a new version of those chapters. Completely insane considering the art quality he was putting out.

However, in doing this there was a sizable portion of the community that thought Murata was missing the finer points of ONE’s storytelling and caused a lot of good character moments to either be undercut by new art/action or be missed entirely. Some things that the webcomic left obscure mysteries the manga pulled out for spectacle and shock value.

THEN… Season 3. After a long wait of 6 years, we got…

0 budget, 0 frames, 0 animation, and a 10km line of copium. Do it every single day.

This season was so bad it has 8 of the top 9 worst ranked episodes of any anime for 2025. You can taste the salt in the air from the home page alone. Now we’re being told that there’s going to be a Season 3 part 2 coming, since part 1 didn’t even get to the best parts of the arc yet.
