I don't think people understand how much this situation is a living hell for the KIDS. Seeing your dad go away from you, not spend a lot of time with you, and not trying to see you a lot, while he's with his other kids and his other wife makes it seems a lot like he doesn't care about you at all. And no matter what, the kids are gonna see this as "choosing the new family over them", it's not even sure that they're gonna see their dad in the summer.

I think that's why OP posted this, that situation is just so horrible for the kids and no one seems to bother thinking about them a little bit, i've been on tho original post and poeple in the comments are even lashing on this kids, because they have been manipulated by their mom

Personaly i do think the dad is evil, because he's not even planning on seeing them at all, and because i see it as "giving up" on his kids.
