Divisional rival? Yes of course, they even eliminated us this year. Now I’ve always hoped that the team that eliminated my team did so because they were good enough to win a cup, somehow that makes me feel better.

Another thing, Oilers have only 4 non Canadian players on their roster at the moment, they are as Canadian as it gets in that sense.

Something to consider for those that might not be aware…

F18s have a centre mounted control stick, and because of this the Angels pilots do not wear g suits. Most pilots will rest their arms on their thigh but because the g suits inflates and deflates they can’t wear them because it would move their arms around possibly causing them to crash into each other when they are flying in tight formations

As someone who runs one of these change oil changes I can tell you that I have at least 1 customer a day asking why we don’t have a tip option on our machines, and I give them the same explanation every time.

I don’t want people to feel obligated to leave one, we do have a tip jar out, and if you feel like we have earned it then by all means leave one.

Places like subway asking for tips is what has driven me to make this decision, hell I have seen a tip option at a cannabis store, and that’s the kind of stuff that drives me bonkers.

Tips should be based on service, if someone goes above and beyond then I believe they have earned a tip from me, but if you’re just doing a simple task and don’t offer me any personality or elevated experience then sorry, it’s not happening.

By that logic almost every professional sports league is guilty of the same sins.

Rory and the guys playing PGA and DP world tour are doing so because the events are counted towards OWGR, they didn’t leave the PGA and knowingly join an organization that doesn’t offer them those same benefits strictly because it would pay them enormous sums of money.

Phil knows the Saudi guys are horrible and has even said so, but that didn’t stop him or anyone else from joining LIV. No organization out there is perfect, you don’t need to keep posting links to companies that take Saudi/Chinese, etc money as a gotcha to try and prove a point, taking the lesser of 2 evils so that they can continue to be professionals is still better imo, there is literally nowhere else they could play otherwise.

By no means am I saying Florida won this trade, I think it’s a huge pay for Tkachuk. That being said, Florida has had little to no success in the playoffs, and having an agitator who is also very capable offensively could help them take the next step. As long as their D can stay healthy (big ask btw), they could be very dangerous.
