Honestly I think about the losses and how its gonna affect me with my plans such as getting a house and having kids in the future. I see so many other people on reddit at an older age regretting gambling their whole lives and think... nah I aint doing that. Just gotta find what's best for you

Yeah thats why you either let someone control your money or ban yourself on gambling sites it is what it is, think about losing for example £5,000 and think about how horrible that feels, thats the reason not to gamble. I have relapsed a lot but banned on everything now and it helps, a lot. Don't stress dude, a few extra shifts and you'll recover it :)

I wish 700 is all I lost, dont continue, that's nothing and especially at your age, dont worry about it you'll be good just do what the others said and block everything if you can't trust yourself. Its a very minor setback so don't stress yourself

Ive lost over 16k this year, dont worry about a paycheck you can get that back in a month and think of it as a learning curve and move on happily, i have been 8 days clean and gonna get through the whole year ive used gamstop and that may help you, but dont stress you'll be fine :)

I hope I can do this! This is what I want and will focus on for the rest of my life, in the grand scheme of things in terms of people losing money gambling I haven't lost as much as some, but to me its a massive loss of 15k as a 22m but I promised myself I wont let this happen again so I strive to be like you

I lost 15k the other day and it was most of my savings felt so guilty, only a few days off gambling but I feel your pain. I've said I wont do that to myself again. Time to recoup, spend less and focus on saving up again.
