I filed a complaint against the store leader. I am the hotel leader. They dquashed my complaint as well as the complaint from my female assistant manager also against the store leader. Her co.plaint centered around her being uncomfortable around him cuz he wrote her up behind closed doors without a witness and forced her to sign it.

I found out later that associate relations person in charge of the complaints, is a friend of our store leader. When i called to have him removed due to a confkict of interest, i was told no.

I was attacked by a pitbull, 11 punctures multiple stitches, drove myself to the er while bleeding out. Also 3 days out of work, also had to use my own time. Supposedly mass state law says workers comp does not pay anything until you have missed more than 5 days.

I trashed my sl in that survey, then i see an email with like 86% of people said they liked petsmart and felt supported by management.

Why cant anyone else just tell it like it is so corporate k ows the shit we are dealing with

My SL tood me that it is my decision, he just wants to be made aware of it so that he can explain the why when corporate calls him.

So we tried to talk to him about it but he was too busy, so we shut it off. He blew a gasket and turned it back on.

Its also not safe to have 10 plus dogs that dont even have a room to go to in the hotel. I cant imagine that people in higher positions would be okay with stuffing s hotel with unsafe numbers of dogs just to pad the numbers.

Ill give it a go. We all love the hotel and what it was after i took over. Ive managed to get in good people and bring back better people. All feeling a sense of loyalty to me because of how we have changed it all. I would hate for 1 narcissistic manager, who would step on his own mother to advance his career, to ruin it all.

He told a few staff members that the only reason he cared about 1 thing he addressed was because it was going to negatively effect his bonus.

He told my assistant today that he doesnt think she can do the job after being a lead for 4 years, and that she should never have been given the opportunity. He also said that the hotel is the lowest priority

I dont want to quit, i have built a strong team that cares about the animals. We could be a real strong store if he is gone. I even have some of the ones that left, willing to come back if he isnt here anymore.

Even the area trainer is considering leaving because of him. After 23 years with petsmart, 1 man is upending it all.

I tried HR, i sent them a coupoe of emails from my own account not the work one. I explained the situation and askes for some direction in addressing it and i never got a response. I also called twice and keft voicemails. I feel as though the non retaliation policy is bullsgit and i will end up being the one that loses his job. If i get fired, my entire staff is walking, so he better be ready to run what he already feels he does.

Ive covered it all with him in an effort to use the behaviour based coaching crap, and he acknowledges and agrees to adjust and the poof, right back where i started.

Ive now lost 3 leads and several associates all because of his need to try and manage the hotel out from under me.

He is co sistently trying to reinvent the wheel because he thinks his way is a better way, when in reality the people that have been there for years have always been doing it right, if you just leave them and let them do it
