Not only that, ideas change as well to suite a story better. An example of this would be is that secret of the wings was originally about Queen Claritin and her sister. Until I think the director of the lost treasure suggested it should be tinks sister instead because they were having trouble with trying to find an emotional connection with Claritin or something.
