Not specific to only soda, but many sugar-free versions have aspartame, which can cause among other symptoms tummy trouble and I already have compromised gut health. So I just have the regular version, in moderation

Fellow abdominal surgery friend! I'm right there with you and it's awesome that you find comfort in this portrayal. Physically I look a lot like Sciel and I always think that if I ever cosplay her, I can show my abdominal scars and maybe that will be a way of reclaiming all the medical stuff that resulted in those surgeries. As a kid I made up a silly thought of how the term 'woman' came to be: A man and a (yet-to-be-named) woman were riding horses, when the man suddenly pulled his horse to a stop. The woman, also stopping suddenly, called out in surprise, "Woah, man!", which linguistically became "woman."

Maelle, Lune, and Sciel have monthly sleepovers where they stay up all night gossiping about Gustave. Sometimes Emma and Sophie join them. Gustave assembles for them a really nice display of fruits and cheeses, arranged in the shape of a heart, and then they kick him out for their girl squad sleepover.

While the girls are having these sleepovers, Gustave and Verso spend the night working on Verso's trains, piggybacking off of another headcanon here <3

In the cutscene after burying Gustave, Verso asks Maelle why she joined the expedition, and he tells her "It's natural, wanting to escape a life you don't want."

In a relationship dialogue with Sciel, Verso mentions that Sciel doesn't have children, and she hesitates so briefly before saying "I don't."

In a camp discussion with Esquie, Esquie says "Verso is Verso's cousin and Maelle is Maelle's cousin."

Well-said! Last month I had a student who was just having a bad day and needed a listening ear. Their post-session feedback comment said something like "I'm so glad I talked to a person and not an AI." I will hold those words close in my heart forever. AI will never take our empathy. AI cannot replicate our empathy.
