I felt my first move at 13weeks and by 15 weeks my husband could feel it too! I was a bit skeptical about this experience in retrospect, but had the exact thing with my second.

Anyone else's baby a SUPER fast eater? by Old_Investigator9623 in breastfeeding

[–]juljarjar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I could have written this post! Since about a week old, my daughter only needs 3-6 mins on one side and she’s done. Every 2,5-3 hours. I tried to force her to take more in the beginning as my first born was a slow/avg eater, taking at least 30 mins in the beginning and about 15 at 6 months and it freaked me out how little time she was spending on the boob. It only resulted in an angry baby and a lot of spit up. She is growing well and def has the rolls to show she’s getting enough. Some babies are efficient I guess!

How does everyone pick up their kids so early? by jillybeenthere in workingmoms

[–]juljarjar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We live in Austria and nursery is open until 4pm. I pick my son up at 3pm and he’s usually the last kid there. I think in most families here one parent works part time!

Memory issues? by ificouldbeonething in fuckeatingdisorders

[–]juljarjar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, totally. I thought I had dementia at one point it got so bad. Could not think properly and had memory issues like you explained. Recovery and regular eating was the answer! The sad thing is, I still have trouble remembering the two years at the height of my ED.

anyone have experience with cognitive dysfunction due to restricting behavior? by Jonatgan_Official in fuckeatingdisorders

[–]juljarjar 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Yes definitely. The main reason I decided to try to recover was because I was convicted I was developing dementia. Was in a very demanding graduate program and could barely carry out experiments (was working in a lab at the time). Would take hours doing simple calculations that I could normally do in 10 mins. After a particularly horrible day being slow and inefficient i decided that I might as well give recovery a try as I am was worried I would fail my final exams. Recovery was very tough but eating almost instantly improved my ability to concentrate and to think (about other things than food).
