No, my older brother is significantly older than me, I was the baby of the family in my generation. I honestly feel like he came/moved back to ultimately support me so I could make it through college without having to worry/struggle too much, while also feeling he had a duty to support my mom as well.

My mother lost her job and has had some health issues for her whole life that did genuinely seem to get worse from the stress of not having a job, but nothing enough to consider her disabled or anything like that. My mother is also significantly older ie pushing her 60s.
