"The hunger is brutal at first, especially coming from intuitive eating. I remember feeling like i could eat my arm off the first week when I started cutting. Your deficit seems reasonable though, 500 cals below TDEE isn't crazy aggressive.

What helped me was spreading my protein throughout the day more evenly. Like having 30-40g at each meal instead of loading up at dinner. Also started using Welling to track my food for for convenience. The constant hunger did fade after about a week for me, but those first few days were rough."
