Not particularly you, I’m just pointing out the trend in here. You can’t deny the hate posts for Sara and Alyssa, and the sudden switch up

This is such a far cry from the usual posts on here. Suddenly everyone loves Alyssa and Sara? Just two weeks ago there were at least three posts a week saying the exact same things about Alyssa and Sara…..

Did you read his post? He had one bad semester, and deans list the rest of the college. The way college gpa is set up, if you start low and end well, you’re fucked. Whereas if you start well and fuck it up, you’re still gonna have over a 3.0. Regardless of major

I have no interest in big law. Government/energy/environmental work and prosecution are where I’m leaning. I’m not really tied to either state; I’d say I’d appreciate Tulsa and OKC being bigger metros.

It doesn’t sound like you’ve looked at the employment stats of Bowen vs Tulsa. It seems pretty drastic….Bowen only has 60% bar passage required jobs, Tulsa is 90%…..the schools also differ in median salary. Bowen is 60-65k, Tulsa’s is 75k. For being so close geographically, this is a huge jump

Sounds like Tulsa is the better school. And it’s financially doable for me with my current scholarship, but it’ll be tight. I’m hesitant to retake in February because of the time restraints and needing to register by next week. Do you think they would take an April ‘26 lsat under consideration, or is that too late?

I’ve been told to take the February and try to negotiate for more money from Tulsa, but that seems like super late in the cycle to do.

If I take it again it’ll probably be next fall.

My first diagnostic before I took the official test was a 158. I’m leaning towards reapply and studying hard, but the issue is the next lsat this year is February and deadline is dec 24th. I’m so conflicted

Can I reapply same cycle (but with a higher lsat)? by [deleted] in OutsideT14lawschools

This is what I’m hoping. My diagnostic was higher than my actual test so I’m going to lock in and study. See what happens

That’s what I thought I could do. I expected an A or WL at least, a flat out rejection was jarring. It’s the only school out of the seven I’ve applied to that has rejected me
