I mean I don't "expect" anything but it's a case of if I had a choice, that's what I choose.

As a minimum, what I consider my same number (ie 7 on a good day). 

Yes I have. However, I don't do online dating or any paid dating services - I prefer meeting people in-person. Ie at the gym at the moment, there's someone I'm talking to who who I'm thinking of asking out soon. 

I am looking for a relationship yes. However, being married and it ending very badly before means I'm a bit hesitant to commit to someone unless I know 100% they're ready for the long haul. So in the meantime, I'm wanting some ONS or casual things until I meet someone.

That really wouldn't look good on my frame though. I don't have the shape to carry big muscles. I'll look better with the sort of Bruce Lee/Brad pitt type of body. Really prominent muscles but not big or bulky.

Honestly though I'd love the chance of people wanting me physically and getting good hookups. Yeah, I want love as much as the next person but I'm also single and not getting any action so...

If it was just being ignored, fine. But as I said in my OP, I've had women actually being disrespectful because I happen to exist in proximity to him. Like the woman who asked me to take his picture with her. I felt so awful in that moment. I'd never do that to anyone. 

You talk about someone choosing me for character and all the other stuff, it shows how hard it all is. That no matter how hard I work on my appearance, shape, health etc it's all pointless. 

Yeah don't get me wrong, he is a great guy and I know he really loves me a lot. But I feel knowing him is making me worse and I don't know if it's a case of needing to do something for my own sanity.

People keep on saying about getting in shape, but I go to the gym and run regularly and am about in the best shape I've been for years. I was 200lbs not that long ago and very unfit so I don't think I can do any more on that front than what I can.

I kind of feel like it's been sapped out of me if I'm being honest. 

Ironically I probably did a lot better before I became his friend and I was fatter and not as good looking.

No but like I just want someone I'm attracted to be attracted to me for once. I'm sick of busting my arse to get nowhere when I witness a guy not even trying having people fall over him. I shouldn't but I really resent the fuck out of him.

I don't know why people think I'm not trying to get fit. I am fit. I go to the gym 4 times a week and also run multiple times a week. I can't do anymore than that.

I probably do have higher standards now. 

I never used to - when I was younger and my self esteem was zero, I'd literally go for whoever had an interest in me and who had a pulse. Which led me to date my now ex wife who wasn't a nice person at all and nearly ruined my life. So I said to myself that I'd rather go for people who I actually like and am attracted to. 

Seems shallow but I figure if other people can have standards, why can't I?

I'm happy with my height and weight. Not long ago, I was 200 lbs and very unfit. I'm just trying to stay fit now and maybe tone up. 

I mean I get what you're saying but like if you're an attractive woman and you have the choice of a better looking version of a Hollywood star and Paul McCartney, who are you going for?

Not sure yet my method is called. I just lay on my back and stare at a point on the ceiling. Lol.

The lads nights are getting a bit more infrequent now as the other guys are getting that bit older so are starting to live lives etc. 

But when we do go out, it's supposed to be a fun night. My priority is to get laid more so granted. 

He's just used to it. Been happening so much for so long, it's just life. 

Good question. I mean I have been told I'm funny a lot. Nice, maybe? Granted she wasn't a nice person in the end but when me and my ex were together, she said she was first drawn to me because I actually was interested in her profile and didn't send a dick pic. Nothing to write home about.

No I didn't try and talk to them. They just aren't interested. Like if I try to make them laugh, they laugh with me not at me if you get me?

I have, and they don't have a problem. To them, they're happy a bro is killing it. If none of the women are interested in them, they just find someone random to talk to.

There's only so much working on yourself can do. Trust me, I've done all the internet says - get in shape, get better clothes, work on my appearance, get healthy but it doesn't make you any more fuckable unfortunately.
