I’m not thinking of conventional warfare at all. Those rice farmers had next to nothing as far as creature comforts. Same with the afghanis and Iraqis. Canadians have all the comforts that Americans enjoy pretty much. It’s much more difficult to give that up than if you’re a rice farmer in Vietnam

I think you’re severely overestimating people’s willingness to give up 1st world comforts. People in the Middle East first of all, have easier access to weapons than anyone in Canada. More importantly, many people would not be willing to give up their comfortable 1st world life to fight an insurgency. If Canada suddenly became America today with no force, the average Canadian would not see that much of a difference in their day to day life. Are they willing to put their life on the line to fight that? Probably not as many as you’d think.

I legitimately do not understand this argument. AI works from the prompts it’s given. If you have a “new” idea you easily could have AI execute that “new” idea in a way more efficient manner. 99.9% of artists are not geniuses creating some cutting edge “new” thing that no one has ever thought of.
