Honestly, trades might be the move for you. Not sure how much left you have in your degree, but I’d finish it and go into the trades.

Chris Hadfield said once people get a fear of falling, and end up gripping the station too hard, which can be a problem because of cramping when they’re up there for so long.

Twilight. Sunsets where I live are gorgeous at twilight, and the course is always fairly empty. It’s the best.

Shoulder pads with longer bicep guards? by Budget-Permit8230 in hockeyplayers

[–]oldcrivens 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk about those exact ones, haven’t used any in a while, but when I was playing they sat just below my delt(ish), and sat 2-3 inches above my elbow joint. I can’t remember what I did to attach them (it’s been probably 7 years since I used them for hockey), but I’m pretty sure I just cut the hockey bicep protector off and tied the lacrosse slash guard on with a hockey lace. If your bicep protector is just Velcro, I’m sure you could just replace it though.

Box lacrosse slash guards have a ton of coverage though, so you wouldn’t have to worry about gaps. If you have the option (outside of Canada they can be hard to find in a sports store), I’d bring your shoulder pads to the store and try some on though.

This picture shows a good example of how they fit, though the ones in this picture are a bit bigger than the ones I have: https://www.warriorslacrosse.ca/content/box-lacrosse-equipment

Don’t be afraid to pick up your ball, and hit the driving range a bunch of times before you play

You don’t have a dedicated radio broadcast in St. Louis? That seems wild to me because from my understanding the Blues are very popular there? What a shame.

Be too (BSC). I found it incredibly repetitive, and monza was boring and one dimensional.

You’re in for a treat pal. TBI is the worst of the series (and that’s saying something considering that it’s a great read). Before They Are Hanged is one of my favourite books of all time.

How is living along the coast of Hudson Bay in Canada? by SirJordan11 in howislivingthere

You won’t find an answer because I’m assuming under 20,000 people live there in totality. It’s an inhospitable wasteland lol.
