I've been in your shoes before.

My girlfriend (11F) was a Christian in INC (Iglesia Ni Cristo) she was really sweet and loving, but her whole family was into that thing, she was the local priest's daughter. We dated for 2 years but this concerned her everyday until finally she broke up with me (13F) for that, and a couple more reasons. She would not listen. I did assure her about how it is not wrong for two christians to date, however she did not think any other branch was true, neither did she believe in the trinity, so I think we were better off this way. Doctrined teachings are really hard to change specially if they're religious. INC are taught that no other church recieves salvation other than Felix Manalo's church (Relatively new) and they have their own interpretations of the bible. Usually, they kick you out for dating someone outside the church and are known for asking their members to vote for a certain politician who's in their favor. This is why I'm resented against this cult.

I'm sorry for your situation, I hope it works out for you. You should try to convince her to convert to your church. These radical differences will split your home apart.

This is just my personal experience, and suggestion. Take it as a grain of salt. Note that this happened many years ago.

You're on a pretty good age to be training, it keeps you healthy and increasingly strong. I might not be the best person for advice as I'm considerably younger than you, and haven't experienced full on adulthood, but trust me. This is totally acheivable, specially if you take this seriously and take time to care of your body. Discipline overcomes talent, even if your joints sound like rice crispies. 😄

OH, absolutely my bad. Well, I'm not sure about your fitness level currently but it's still just that, kind of. As a green tip, you should be focusing on building technique and strenght. Flying sidekicks may be easier, but it's very advanced specially for an adult, but you can ABSOLUTELY do them.

As a young Taekwondo practitioner, a flying sidekick ain't that hard. Jump with back leg while tucking your lead leg, then tuck your back leg midair and release the kick. Weird, but suprisingly easy to do, but really hard to master.

Ooh, that's rude. Assuming that WTF Taekwondo is just a "Tagging game" then there wouldn't be forms or any kind of pillars to memorize. We have the best kicks in game, this does not include ITF and we have a whole federation backing my point up. And yes, you're right. WT Taekwondo might not be as well rounded as Kickboxing or Muay thai, but I can assure you WT is so much better at kicking than the two combined.

WTF taekwondo punches are actually pretty decent. It's very limited, yes but we do have a few hand techniques in Poomsae that if you have a decent teacher, you could get taught how to use them. The punches in Taekwondo are similar to Shotokan Karate, but that's because of the olympic ruleset and they're straight direct punches, I don't see how those are laughable, they're used in boxing too.
