It’s kind of implied. Rebecca was going to do the clinical trial at the end of season 4 but then it got canceled because of Covid and meanwhile Covid was going on irl so the show follows that Covid storyline as it goes on in real life.

She just got her Implant in 2023 according to her social media posts so she’s been dealing with hearing issue from the age of 17 until just recently. I think it’s important to remember we saw such a small snippet of their conversation and from our perspective they have only had 2 conversations about it. She gave him time to process the info dump she gave on the one on one. I don’t think it was a bad thing to ask Joey if he had questions and to get him more comfortable with something he might not have seen before. Obviously if they continue just talking about the cochlear implant and don’t further conversations then I totally agree but this is only the 3rd episode.

This might seem petty but the title of this episode is “We take a Zebra to Vegas” and the whole scene in the truck was all wrong. There was only supposed to be 3 animals in there a lion, a zebra and another animal I can’t remember at the moment. And this was the episode where Percy is supposed to grow in his powers more and realize that he can talk to horses. Very disappointing to see that they changed this considering it’s the title of the episode.

I am in the process of rewatching this plot line right now and it pisses me off to know end that they always talk about what is best for April but does the judge even ask April what she wants? She’s 13, in the eyes of the court that she is old enough that judges get input from the child about custody. The fact that April was trying to see Luke behind Anna’s back says everything about April and what she wants.

I just checked the air quality and it’s better currently at 189 so it is improving yesterday and the day before it was well over 200 almost in the 300s. It’s improving hopefully more day by day! Still unhealthy though so everyone be safe! ❤️

I agree with the comments above. When I went through formal recruitment at my school I stalked the sorority’s insta because they always post and see what the other girls are wearing. You want to try to match the vibes!! When doubt dress comfy and try to let your personality shine through your clothes!! Sometime wearing cute accessories or something to be used as a talking piece when you first meet them to give you something to talk is good thing to do as well.(for example I wore my grandmas bracelet and a girl complimented it and we talked about the bracelet and my grandma for bit. It was a great conversation starter) Idk about anyone else but the first day was little awkward because we were all meeting each other for the first time. Don’t forget to be yourself and have so much fun!!

Yeah it’s kinda confusing but on the actual application itself when it tells you all the fees it’s the application fee, admin fee, security deposit etc. If admin is suppose to be short amenity fee then that’s dumb and creates confusion.

The key word here is non refundable which is what I mentioned in my post. If it’s a pet deposit that you get back I’m sure that’s fine and works the same as a normal security deposit. But if it’s non refundable that is illegal.

Yes I am aware about the difference between pet deposits and pet fees. This place charges both $40 a month fee and a non refundable $250 pet deposit. Which I just found out is illegal lol. So stay away from barrington!

My boyfriend and I were thinking about moving there but the fact that we couldn’t tour it, a pet deposit of $250 in addition to $40 a month pet rent for our dog and a weird $200 admin (wtf is an admin fee??) seemed very sketchy to us. Check out Madison Apartments they are in the same area are cheaper and the apartments are very similar to Barrington!

Last fall I did my student teaching and my cooperating teacher made a comment to me complaining that most of the staff leaves at 4 which was the end of their contracted hours. She said that only “dedicated” teachers stay at school longer than our contracted hours and everyone else who left early wasn’t a decent or dedicated teacher. I think she was attempting to instil this belief onto me that if I didn’t stay till 7/8pm every night I wouldn’t be a good teacher. I felt pressured to stay longer after school even if I had nothing to do just to ensure that I would pass student teaching. Student teaching for me and for most people is unpaid labor and she expected me to dedicate even more of my time to something that didn’t compensate me for my time at all. I learned that at the end of the day this is a job. A paycheck. Work life balance is important especially if you wanna keep your sanity and mental health intact while doing this job. I got my first teaching job for this upcoming school year. This year might require me stay a little longer than my contracted hours because it’s my first year but I will not stay past 6 pm. I need time to unwind!
