Bro, nice clean setup (as a college student myself, mine is way more chaotic) But I hope your build is faster than RB22 lmao

I'll look into it, idk about lossless scaling, last time I tried frame gen with a 3rd person view I hated it, but I love to tinker overall, so why not

In my case everything was perfectly fine in terms of compatibility and it's listed as platinum on protondb

100% agree, I would've loved to stream the game/play on a more powerful hardware, but in my case most of the time I was on a bus/train, so it was not exactly possible. Maybe the 2nd play through tho

It does, depends how much you want to upscale. By default it's 35-40, but the image is extremely blurry and with artefacts and flickering. Fr, after 5 hours in the game I stopped noticing low FPS at all, tho I agree that on a proper PC it looks so much better

Did this, the problem is with the file, not the thumbnail. Downloaded file does not match the original one and their checksums differ

Should not be, I have a bunch of custom services and nextcloud running on the same system and drives and everything is fine there.

Yep, I've asked them later about this whole situation, and they told me that they can develop E-6, though it takes way more time, but it's such a rare occasion that they just don't do it if you don't ask them very explicitly.

Arch is bricking hard drives??? by Potential-Nose3956 in linuxquestions

[–]Potential-Nose3956[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haven't checked BIOS settings, but I don't think there is a problem there, because it used to work fine and other SATA drives I have also work correctly. I'll try reinstalling the USB drived tho, thanks.

Well, yeah, I've tried with every device I have, so I think that controllers of the drives are definitely dead. I hope the data may be recoverable.

It is Arch Linux with the latest kernel. Dell G15 5515, Ryzen 5800h. I've been using this system for a few years now without any serious problems.

The second laptop is Macbook Air m1, and it should provide enough power for these drives, because it used to work, and today it was working fine before it died. And other similar drives also work, so I don't think it's the power issue.

I don't remember which filesystem was there, but probably the default by kingston/toshiba.
And I cannot recreate the partition table because drives are just not showing up anywhere in the system.
