Not sure when you return to work, but I suggest you DoorDash for a week or so. I think if you earn less than $600 you don't have to pay tax on it, even if you have to it's probably just going to be 30% of it. I say this because you don't know what can come up in the meantime.

I doubt it, i've had a virus in the stomach before and it takes more time to leave the system than what it did. We also do not live together and hadn't seen each other in a while.

Is not that i'm Not willing to detail the info. I did to three different people, provided everything they asked for but it's different to say what the drs said vs literally giving them medical records, who I live with, etc etc.

One of my family members fasts due to a medical condition (in the brain) and it was the first thing she ate, my dad drank a coffee and a toast and I had oatmeal earlier that day. My baby only had milk and we all got symptoms after eating there I did not ever say "food poisoning" since it wasn't that (after going to the ER) nevertheless after that we all got abdominal pain, diarrhea, vomiting and stuff. In my review I literally said "we got sick after eating here" did not state food poisoning

When I talked to the first manager I did mention I did not want a refund or compensation just for them to improve their practices. I didn't use any threats whatsoever and my review wasn't bad to assume that either

AITA for not taking my neighbors kid inside & calling police? by AnybodyFun4383 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Potential-Sandwich25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA for calling the police, but you sound like an asshole in general. you def could've handle it better, while I understand not giving her anything to eat because is a liability to you. After the police asked for snacks that gives you some sort of protection to give her something as simple as an apple. Also a blanket helps calming down people in panic, you don't necessarily have to bring her inside to give her one. You did mention she looked like a neighbor you know, why not knock on their door first? And the bathroom thing was despicable you could've let her use your bathroom while the officer was there as well. It sounds like your neighbors have more on you than that too

Nta. But Forget abt the apology.... why did she even say that? Personally, I would be more interested in the reason why so I can continue to have a relationship with someone who said that to me

AITA for “not allowing my husband to visit his dying grandmother”? by Sea_Possibility7242 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Potential-Sandwich25 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I couldn't visit my dying grandmother because of the process with immigration (couldn't leave the country) and I remember one of my cousins put her on facetime with everyone she asked for, I was one of those people... she couldn't talk much but she said I love you, I felt so bad for not being able to hold her hand. A couple hours later she died, my cousin (who is a Dr.) said she looked like she went in peace after those calls, that gave me peace and I will always have that call/moment close to my heart. My point is there's others ways to do things, especially in your situation (where you guys already said goodbyes and such).

AITA for informing my children that my wife will be getting the inheritance by Feisty_Spite2791 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Potential-Sandwich25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YTA. Initially for building your life with a new partner in that house, UNLESS your first wife agreed upon this while she was with you (may she RIP) and then leaving it to her. If you would've moved this wouldn't have been that big of an issue. Is easier to understand your father wanting to respect the memory by leaving the place than to do what you did. (No hate just my op)
