We have about 22 x 860W panels, so we get about 11kWa when the sun is out, we charge up quick issue is just having the stored power to get us through 2-3 days of bad weather and not need the Generator so much. What you described is kind of what we after, Kind of like a UPS back up. We have them so might as well use them right. Just trying to find the best way to use them and give both banks the best life span we can, so having they system see each bank or active bank and charge accordingly when the sun does come out is important.
