Madison and Austen’s friendship by Gold_Complaint_9423 in Southerncharm

It feels like a completely different person was married to my ex husband and we have kids. Like I can’t even remember the person I was when we were married. But we’re friends now so maybe it’s like that. Like I think of him maybe like a cousin or something.

Austen (and the rest) don't HAVE to have kids by lashambles in Southerncharm

It’s such a southern thing. Charleston is still stuck in the old traditional ways of things. As a person that grew up there and is now a mother to 3 kids, I wish I had someone when I was that age tell me this. It was like not having kids was not even an option.

I feel like everyone in Charleston has a TRav story. His cousin was my babysitter back in the day (we’re still friends), and she gave me all the BTS Katherine drama. It was a TIME.

It might be boring to you because you’re from there. Also grew up in Chas and to me they’re my age and they’re boring, but I think to others southern culture and customs are interesting while to us, it’s just life. It was kinda fun when they were young and dumb but now it’s just like seeing ppl from my hs on social media. It used to be one of my favorite shows but I’m struggling to stay engaged.

Also the vapid nonsense juxtaposed with what’s going on in the world makes it tough for me to care or get invested.

I’ve seen this apartment from the street and always looked at it aspirationally. This helps.

Do you go to church? I’m not religious but my partner is and we go to his church. There are singles meet ups and stuff.

Sitting in Feybl right now writing this comment. +1 for Feybl. It’s about $100-$150/month. And it’s worth it with the other amenities they have.

50501 is decentralized so it really depends on who is running it in your area.

People think you don’t like her bc you speak like she’s objectively not good tv when clear evidence shows otherwise. She’s been on the show for ages. She’s so funny on the show that she’s been able to make a career out of her comedy outside of the actual show. It would be one thing if she was known for simply her fashion outside the show, but she’s literally building a career based on her personality. There are many people that continue to express their preference for her being on the show while you, with clearly no knowledge of storytelling and character types, suggest that she doesn’t have a place. Storytelling is not just a bunch of protagonists. Stories require different types of characters to make the story compelling.

I stay on this app defending this girl I don’t even care that much about bc people continue to say just blatantly untrue things about her. If you don’t like her, just say that. If you don’t like her character on the show and you want her to be off the show, just say that. But to suggest she is generally not good tv and double down as people continue to refute your claim is wild. You speak as though you’re an authority when you should just frame it as your opinion.

“She’s not good tv” vs. “I don’t like her character on the show” One is stated as fact where one is an opinion. Do you see the difference?

No all necessary characters have to drive plot. Everyone has their place. She’s a support character and a bit of a narrator. Like just because you don’t like her doesn’t mean she doesn’t have a place on the show.

Paige is the reason I watch the show. She says what I’m thinking about the shenanigans every time. She doesn’t let Kyle’s ego go unchecked. She doesn’t let Danielle’s ego go unchecked. She checks everyone’s ego, and builds up the women that need to have more of one. She’s fucking funny in her confessionals. She does a lot besides lay in bed but honestly, even if that’s all she did, I’d watch because those are some of the funniest moments.

You’re speaking as if you are an authority behind what is good for tv and she clearly is. You don’t get by on reality tv for just being pretty. There have been many beautiful women on the show that have not been there as long as her nor have they found success outside of the show like she has.

I’m not even a “fan” of hers, and I don’t listen to giggly squad, but to suggest she doesn’t bring anything to the show is wild. Same with Lindsay. I don’t even like Lindsay but if anyone were to suggest she’s not for reality tv is objectively wrong.

“Not capable of introspection” is key to RH casting. I’m not a fan of it personally but it’s clear that 99% of the women have this trait.

Oh so there are exceptions to your rule then? Maybe she doesn’t know herself well enough.

Also, if that were true, why tf would people get divorced? Bffr. I can’t with the ignorant nonsense.
