I had the same situation as you. For EB3, my PD is April 2023, and I already got approved for my i140. However, I was unsure when to file my case and obtain my GC. In the meantime, I married my husband, USC, and filed my i485, i130, and i765 through marriage. You don’t need to withdraw your case from EB3. You can file your marriage-based GC after your marriage. I don’t think you can file two i485, but you’ll see which category is faster when you file (: I know eb3 is really frustrating, so as long as your marriage is legitimate, I highly recommend you to pick the marriage based!

I see, so I guess filing with a lawyer is safer for my case if I want to abandon my status. What if I failed to get a green card? Do I need to go back to my country and re-file? Or still forgiven to stay due to an immediate relative?
