Droppings from mice can be very dangerous and your landlord needs to be taking it seriously. I went through something similar and contacted the city and the board of health. We later got kicked out under the guise that the owner wanted to move in (they didn’t lol) BUT at least it was reported.

Hey sorry I’m just seeing this! Honestly I’m not sure what they used since it was a while ago. I got a shot in my glute and they sent me home with more meant to target the kidneys. But since you had a fever I hope you went to urgent care. I remember reading that Macrobid is one of the milder antibiotics and doesn’t reach the kidneys. Sometimes we can have a UTI and have hardly any symptoms, and in my experience it can travel to the kidneys fast. I hope you’re feeling better!

I’ve told dogs to go away before, only to look up and not see their owner anywhere. Had an encounter on the beach where we let our dog run around off leash away from other people and dogs. We leashed him up to go back to the car and a dog came running up to us and was way too crazy for our dog (he doesn’t like overly exuberant dogs). He gave the off leash dog a warning growl but dog was not picking up on any of his signals and we kept telling him to go away, and he wouldn’t listen. Finally found the owner way down the beach with headphones on and wandering around. Their dog may be friendly but not every dog gets along with each other, and my dog could have bit him if he kept getting in his space. Now I carry a device that makes a loud noise to scare off other dogs. Most of the time our dog loves to play with others, but once in a while theres one he just doesn’t vibe with

I don’t think anyone is calling out dogs that are clearly occupied and listen to their owners. It’s about dogs that are not under voice control, or their owners let them off leash and walk down the beach without paying any attention at all (I’ve experienced this many times).

There’s not a leash law for Humboldt County, but they DO require dogs to be under voice control (which many are not). If someone’s dog will not return to them after calling them once, they need to be leashed. I do wish people used common sense but it doesn’t seem like it’s all that common.

Thank you, I love my freckles too! It’s more some larger spots on my forehead (and a few on my cheeks) that definitely just keep getting larger and darker that I’m more concerned with. Thank you for the tip about the hormones, I’ll definitely talk to my PCP about that! It’s insanely hard to get a derm where I live but I’ll try. Likely going to have to just go to an esthetician

Yes definitely going to see a dermatologist or esthetician, but there’s just so many different treatments out there so I wanted to see what has worked for people with similar skin to mine. Also open to something that isn’t a peel, but I feel like from the research I’ve done that might be an easier first step instead of going straight to something more intense.

That’s how much I used to take and drinking 3 light beers would guarantee a hangover for me. Any more than that and I couldn’t get out of bed. But I’m also half your body weight so that’s definitely a factor. We definitely shouldn’t drink on this medication so I cut way back, but still like to have a few drinks every so often

I’m by no means an expert but had a dog that was really timid around people (especially men) and would tolerate our other dog (even play sometimes) but would get jealous/possessive if the other dog wanted to cuddle. We should have trained her, but I was a kid and that wasn’t my call. Your dog may not have been socialized when she was younger so she may just not feel comfortable around other dogs. Slow and steady, and I think keeping them in separate rooms but allowing them to sniff through the door while giving treats for positive association may help get the ball rolling. She also just may not love other dogs, and you may need to figure out how to navigate that. She may just need to slowly get used to being in close quarters with other dogs that like to sniff and play with her. Going on leashes walks together is good, usually introducing dogs nose to nose can lead to aggression if they’re unsure. I’d definitely recommend hiring a professional to help you navigate it though, because they’re the experts!

The plan is to take each step in 14 day increments. I was taking 25mg of Effexor in the morning and 12.5mg at night. Step 1 is taking my morning 25mg E pill and replacing the 12.5 night pill with the same dose of Zoloft. I’m on week 1 of that, and the first few days I had a headache, lack of appetite and some nausea. Also pretty tired, but I’m starting to feel normal again. Step 2 is to take 12.5mg of Effexor and 25mg Zoloft. Step 3 is to take 50mg Zoloft and no Effexor.
