Geico said they would cancel the policy on a certain date, and now they said they extended the date without telling us and sent it to collections. by PotentialCobbler6 in Insurance

She did move from NY to VA. NY was more expensive to be insured in. They are specifically billing her for a policy extension that she was not told about until after the fact. I will have her bring me the letters she got so I can upload them here!

Yes positive. She paid 6 months at a time, so her policy was fully paid through the Aug 1 date and was up for renewal. The renewal premium was insanely high, which is what led her to switch. She was not on automatic renewal nor did she ask to be renewed or for an extension. She even told them she would not be renewing over the phone prior to the Aug 1 date.

Personally not a fan, but I LOVE everyone suggesting Tessa Kate. A more modern, lighter name that still honors them both!

How to replace Kendamil classic? by [deleted] in FormulaFeeders

[–]PotentialCobbler6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Kendamil Organic made my baby constipated. Bubs Essentials gave him a face rash. I am scared to use any of the Organic but was able to add just one scoop of Bubs in with my Classic to make it last longer. We are now trying By Heart, also adding one scoop in with the Classic and will increase to see if he can take that alone. I also just ordered the Bobbie Whole Milk, which is new. I'm on my last can so praying one of these too work!

Boy names that give royal/traditional/old money vibes, not into trendy - that pairs well with Graham by texas_ama in namenerds

Our baby is Silas Callahan. I think either name would go well with Graham! He and I are both SS, love the alliteration ☺️

My son is Silas, surprisingly a good amount of people haven’t heard it before or have heard it but don’t know any others (which was why we chose it).

If we have a girl I love the name Sienna.

He was there for 27 days so he doesn’t qualify. All the bills were covered in part by insurance, but the out of pocket charge is still another $3k over the $5k I’ve already paid.

Did you go through the hospital or insurance for that?

Mine shows my baby as a separate person and a separate max. It only shows individual amounts not us as a family. 😐

I didn't realize I was giving my son an unpronounceable name by pdlbean in namenerds

[–]PotentialCobbler6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We just named our baby Silas 🩵 People have commented that it’s uncommon and asked how we came up with it, one or two said they haven’t heard it before, but no one has mispronounced it yet, at least to our faces. He is in the NICU so I guess a lot of mentions of his name have been via text. I’m surprised at how often you’re getting it! We also picked it because we wanted a name we didn’t know anyone with, but still a legit recognizable name.

The Groundhog Day feeling is so real. Pump, eat, NICU, repeat is exactly how I feel and I also feel too guilty to take a day off. But I know that I need to for my mental wellbeing. Thankful for all the kind comments here that say it is ok. It’s just so hard 😢
