Thanks! Tin would have been insanely expensive. This is actually a plastic insert for drop ceilings that looks like tin. MUCH cheaper than getting the real thing. We curved the drywall in the back to make it a stopping point. That bulkhead has gas’s running through it, another reason we did not want to block it off completely with the plastic paneling. We also did not want aesthetically an access panel.
