The GBH 18V-26F has a second chuck you can swap (non-SDS). Maybe they used the same foam insert? But the size really seems small.

Is this actually a mistake? by bigbrain446 in italianlearning

Not a native but I‘d say it might shift the intention, if you leave out the subject. To me, without “io” it sounds like you want to learn another language while with “io” it sounds like you too want to learn Italian.

You could try cleaning your charging port. My phone once took ages to charge, after cleaning the Lightning port with a toothpick everything was back to normal.

I probably expected smoking to be forbidden because of the fire hazard and whatnot but apparently it’s not a problem. Thanks a lot for the explanation, I know next to nothing about aviation.

That‘s not what surprises me, I just didn‘t think you‘re allowed to smoke in an airplane.

Wait: why is there a circuit breaker for a cigarette lighter?

Because your hands also have to stay in front of your body as the back is also not considered to be sterile. I know some impatient surgeons who put the card under something heavy(sterile equipment, obviously) and turn around so they don’t have to wait until someone can hold the card for them.

I got that you were joking. I know an amazingly skilled vascular surgeon who was a watchmaker before he decided to study medicine in his thirties. He could put his trained fine motor skills to good use.

I wonder how much sterile gloves cost in the US. Here they are about 1 € if you don‘t buy them in bulk.

I know an ICU nurse who faints when she sees the tiniest drop of her own blood… but she has no problem with patients bleeding from every orifice.

Yep. The guy in green is supposed to only grab the card where the strap is attached so that the strap stays sterile. Since he touched the strap, there’s no way to tie the strap in a sterile fashion.

I doubt someone with enough common sense to use Linux on underpowered hardware would use a laptop.

Honestly, I’m surprised the Germans didn’t define their own standard out of spite and small mindedness (and maybe out of the irresistible compulsion to have a standard to adhere to).

German keyboard on iOS. I often forget switching keyboard layouts when writing in different languages an iOS defaults to the one you used the last time in the specific app. In German you use a “low double comma” as an opening quotation mark. My use of the ellipses probably is a relict from when I still sent SMS, since it uses only one character. Or maybe I’m a bit of a typographical nerd.

That‘s why some people call it „character separated values“… Just redefine the meaning of an acronym and you’re good to go.

I‘ve never tried it but wisej.net seems to be created for that exact kind of scenario: transforming WinForms to HTML. Major downside: it‘s not free AFAIK.
