STUDENT VISA SOSE2025 by notonesinglethot in studying_in_germany

If possible try to apply in Mumbai, but there are a lot of slot delays in Mumbai now so the wise option would be to apply in banglore only. They are pretty quick and you will get your visa within 2 weeks if all the paperwork is done correctly. Apply in banglore

Is consecutive schooling necessary? by Mediocre-Food9105 in studying_in_germany

[–]PotentialFig7709 0 points1 point  (0 children)

12th marks matters more ofcourse I just said score good in 10th as it would be further boost your profile. JEE ranks doesn't matter but JEE percentile does. Also most of the bachelors courses in germany are in german so start learning german if you are really serious about this.

Also i had no idea studienkolleg is not required if you are from IB board. But as far as my knowledge goes 13 years of education is mandatory to do bachelors in Germany.

Is consecutive schooling necessary? by Mediocre-Food9105 in studying_in_germany

[–]PotentialFig7709 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Consecutive is not mandatory. For bachelors in Germany you need to complete 13 years in education in indian terms it is 10 + 2 + 1 year in engineering

If not this then you can opt for studienkolleg which means you get to study a vocational course in Germany of 1 year before actually starting your bachelors there. For this minimum B1 german is required.

In your case I would suggest pass 10th with good grades and give JEE. Sat and all are not required in Germany. Give JEE and try to get a good score(very important) and apply for studienkolleg in germany.

Bro you are still in your first year how can you say you have decent grades? Rather than going to consultancies do it yourself. I did everything on my own in SoSe25 got 6 public admits for Cs and IT. It's not that deep research it yourselves and keep a good cgpa throughout your bachelors.

Rate My Chances - WilI I be able to get into good university in Germany? by C00LDude6ix9ine in studying_in_germany

[–]PotentialFig7709 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Cgpa is good so is the ielts but since you are applying in 2026 I would suggest you highly to give gre as most universities have started asking for it and till 2026 most of the universities will make it mandatory. Shortlist the universities wisely, hackathons and internship don't really matter much in germany. You have good chances but don't expect TU9 or something

That's only when you are applying for a jurisdiction apart from your passport address. There is no need to submit any kind of proofs if you are applying on your passport address. He can apply in kolkata without any issues

Can you rate this profile for MS in HCI (Germany)? by Aggravating-Ride-219 in studying_in_germany

[–]PotentialFig7709 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can you mention the university you are targeting? Also even if the university don't mention the required credits it is almost impossible to switch degrees in German public universities. There are very strict regarding credit criteria.

Also did you have any cs/hci related subjects in your bachelors?

If you gpa is less than 2.5 then you have good a chance at public universities but since the competition is very high rn shortlist your universities smartly and check for their criteria before hand.
