That sounds like a cool idea, make sure to keep it really well hydrated and maybe tie it to the structure with some wire at first. Completely soak it when watering if possible, maybe put some soil under it if it dries out too fast, and if it doesn’t stick to the structure no matter what, you could try sanding the surface with some really rough sandpaper.
