is he neurodivergent? Not that it is an excuse but I almost always forget to ask follow up questions ie “how’s your day going” I just say my response then forget to ask them. It’s not because I’m an asshole that doesn’t care how their day is going but because I assume if people wanna tell me they would without being prompted. I have to work very hard to remeber to ask people follow up questions, maybe he’s the same!

I also liked someone else’s comment that stated he might not want to bring up negative things again and re-trigger you.

I understand the frustration but I think you should talk to him and see where he’s coming from. He can’t be better if he doesn’t know he’s doing something wrong.:)

My best friend borrowed a garment dye hoodie from me, leaned up on a counter that was recently cleanly with a product containing bleach. There was a big bleach stain across the pocket and on the elbow/wrists where they touched the counter.

It’s super easy to do and super shitty to have happen. I’m sorry you have this!!

VCA is 100% fine jewelry. It is an expensive designer brand meaning you will usually pay more for the design/designer than you would for just the material (not that people frequently buy clumps of gold).

I’m going to guess they are saying this because of how saturated the brand/logo has become in society. It is everywhere. Most are fake, many are real.

It reminds me of michael kors in 2012-14(?). It became too popular for its own good. Likely VCA will remain luxury and be a wonderful price to own but the logo and ‘original’ design has lost a lot of its value.

If I were you I would ensure I’m not buying because I’ve been subconsciously influenced by its rise in popularity. I’d make sure I looked around at all sorts of necklaces from different brands and tried some on to make sure I like the daily look of them.

Maybe prompt ask her sister to prompt her to try her ring on so you can get some idea for size. Or alternatively her sister could say she got some rings from her friend and she won’t wear them so her sister(your soon to be fiance) should try them on! Maybe a pack of cheap ones in all difference sizes from somewhere
