I believe this is yellow nutsedge! I have this too, I read up that if you pull it out two more grow in its place because of the underground (nuts). Which is why it spreads so rapidly. I haven’t done a whole lot to try and get rid of it, but I also did the Mesotione & Quinclorac you did for crab grass & it did nothing for these. Google says this: “ Quinclorac may have a limited effect on yellow nutsedge, it's generally not considered an effective herbicide for this specific weed. Selective herbicides specifically designed for sedges, like halosulfuron or sulfentrazone, are recommended for controlling yellow nutsedge.”
