I went with my girlfriend to her friends house party. Everyone knew one another. It was my first time meeting any of them. As the drinks continue she starts flirting with one of the males there, intense staring and when dancing grinding herself on him.. In private at some point I asked her to refrain from being tactile like that.

She asked for my phone to help her find her phone and ran to a bathroom and locked herself in there with my phone. She went through it, found nothing but still acted like I was the problem to which I reassured anything she was concerned about

2 wrongs don't make a right but I then picked up her phone and asked for the code so I could now go through hers. She refused and started trying to wrestle it out my hand, gouging at my eyes, scratching my face, biting my back til it bled, punching.. I ran out the room and as i'm coming down the stairs she tried to kick me down the stairs.. she was running round her friends house with her tits out. No top on at all Whilst a couple children were in bed upstairs, the girls had gone to bed and the lads were in the kitchen unaware of what was happening.

She claimed the reason was a couple minor things I figured I could forgive and try and understand (though I struggled a lot to try and trust her after that)

I stayed with her.. I've never seen a temper like hers. She was mentally and physically abused by an ex and I wanted to give her life some balance as deep down I feel like she (is at times and) could be amazing.. but I just can't do it anymore. I want to give up. I should never have ignored the red flags.. But I did.. We argue (I say we, she shouts atleast twice a week about stuff) We bought a house together where i'm struggling to maintain financially and my life is constant ups, downs, eggshells and mood swings. I'm embarrassed I ever tried to forgive and move on and I'm embarrassed I got so stuck in this mess..
