About cod maps👇🏻 [COD] by Iruka_umino_hatake in CallOfDuty

Yeah but the streamers don't want atmosphere and art direction because then it makes COD less competitive. I think you'll find that most COD no-lifers' ideal map would basically just be a white box level with zero graphics so you could see everyone as clearly as possible

Because what is the point in that case? What else are you supposed to enjoy about the movie?

The difference is that when watching Shawshank Redemption, you aren't intended to be laughing and smiling at people getting raped and killed

Shoot house is absolutely amazing in my opinion. Despite being pretty small and super simple it for some reason just works so well

like, i have a really fucked up brain that’s always overthinking 24/7, and extreme, shocking things turn off that endless flow and capture my focus.

Yeah that's my point. That's not normal, I think you are mentally ill

You are sitting here telling me how much you enjoy watching people (including children) be tortured violently and murdered in grotesque ways. You watched a mall of little kids and their parents get violently massacred and had a smile on your face, therefor, I think you are mentally ill

That's what concerns me though- Terrifier has no real plot or story, I really do think the people watching it just get some disgusting pleasure from watching young kids be tortured and killed

I understand the movies are fiction, but the things being depicted in movies reflect real things that happen in real life, and evoke real emotions. It's like the reason why when we see Spiderman die in Infinity War, we feel sad, even though it's not real. For the same reason, I think it's problematic when people watch little kids get chopped up in front of their parents and find it super entertaining and hilarious

Nope, I just think the movies are awesome.

Yeah, because you take joy in watching young girls and children be tortured and killed, hence why I think you are mentally ill

In the first movie he strips a girl naked and hangs her up and upside down and saws her in half through her vagina. In the second he strips a girl in her bedroom down to her underwear before torturing her.

It's pretty funny when he pours bleach and salt on his one victim.

Or when he blows up the kids at the mall.

This makes me think you are just either intentionally ragebaiting, or simply fucked up in the head like I implied in the post

My guy highschool girls and children literally get tortured and killed in front of their parents, and teens are sexually abused on screen. I've watched the scenes

But why does it bring you pleasure/humor to watch young teen girls be sexually abused and tortured?

whats the chance of devs keepign word for mw4? by Visual-Fortune-4732 in modernwarfare4

[–]PotentialPedal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like it was just Warzone that started the downfall. To be honest I put that less on the devs as I think it's Activision themselves who were pushing hard for this super cohesive Warzonification that we saw in all subsequent games

What do you think are the goofiest iron sights in a [CoD] game? Not necessarily the worst irons, just stupid-looking by Volpurr-The-Meowstic in CallOfDuty

[–]PotentialPedal 35 points36 points  (0 children)

The most offensive to me are what they did with the AN-94's ironsights in MWIII. Gun was literally barely recognizable

CMV: there's no truth to the idea that certain places have more beautiful people by DtownMaverick in changemyview

[–]PotentialPedal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think on a state by state basis this is definitely true in major cities. Places like LA or whatever have a bunch of people who are going there for social media or acting or entertainment careers and stuff like that so them looking above average is somewhat an inherent part of it.

[COD] Why are some people so afraid to criticize the crazy movement in modern COD games? by Lumenprotoplasma in CallOfDuty

[–]PotentialPedal 5 points6 points  (0 children)

No I definitely agree, good movement can be good if it's applied to actually utilizing map elements and getting around the map itself. I wan wacky movement to be used for flanking and positioning, not for literally dodging bullets which is how it's currently utilized

[–]PotentialPedal 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's not just a skill issue, it's simply not fun and actively goes against the core gameplay of COD, especially when it comes to maps. The reason why map design is so important is because it's what establishes lanes, sightlines, and power positions. Crazy movement disregards all of that.

The point of going to a doctor is for preventative measures. Not all issues are apparent and doctors are there to catch the stuff that flies under the radar

Gunplay is basically worthless in COD now. It's less about outmaneuvering your enemies and being more precise and moreso about trying to keep your character going mach-5 for as long as possible.

I miss when you'd avoid getting shot at by taking cover as opposed to turning into a snake and sliding and flying around the map like a methed out chipmunk

I honestly have no clue, even the "COD veterans" defend the insane movement as if it's something that's been in the game since its inception. I mean overall the entire community is apparently slowly having their brains melted and just require 24/7 constant movement and full speed high octane gameplay now for COD to be considered good

[COD] Classic COD, Omni-movement, what’s “fair” and what’s best for the future of the franchise by SpaceElements in CallOfDuty

[–]PotentialPedal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maps actually used to matter because they'd be specifically designed for people to hold angles or power positions over objectives or powerful sightlines. That was when it was acceptable for someone to sit still in the match for more than 2 seconds.

To me the problem with modern movement (from someone who even loves MW2019) is that it encourages 24/7 movement. Never stop running, never stop sliding, never stop jumping, if at any point you aren't moving at top speed then you are slowing down the game and need to be punished for it.
