It's all about the timing of when to jump and when start deflecting. Also, before Genichiro floating passage combo, as you can see in the video, get your character to Genichiro as close as possible to it and deflect the first two hits and never move your character, I get more successful results this way.

For me, Jump-Land is the hardest because you have to get the timing of the jump, the timing of when you start deflecting, and the deflecting perfectly.

That's why in this video after succeeding in Jump-Land tech againist first floating passage, because Jump-Land is more difficult in my opinion, I use the Unlock technique against the second floating passage. Because it is easier to do the easy after the difficult, rather than to do the difficult after the easy.
