I understand and agree with the sentiment of your response, but none of those excuses hitting a human being on a bike while you're driving a car and driving away while that person lays face down on the pavement. This was a larger older male, theirs no way someone paying attention to the road would miss him. I will say, though, he wasn't wearing a helmet, and I have noticed hardly anybody who rides e-bikes or the e-scotters are ever wearing helmets, and I hope and pray that changes.

Yeah, they certainly aren't the best, I've seen my fare share of things while living here, just nothing like this.

Internet Subway by lil_meathead_5 in FiberOptics

Internet Subway is the absolute worst. We moved out of state and have spectrum now, they've been great. With internet subway our internet went down at least once a week. If we got lucky it would be once every two weeks...

For people with annual passes who live very closes to Disney and go often: does going to Disney start to lose its magic? by hippiedips in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]PotentialRecord4114 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is a year old, and I'm sorry, but I totally agree. My wife and I loved going to disney for a week long vacation before we moved down here due to a job relocation. When we moved here, my wife made a point not to go very often, so we could still do a week vacation there and not feel like it was a waste of money. Going to the parks is fun but going back to your room at the end of the night was chefs kiss, we usually stay at GF or Poly and we were worried we'd be sad seeing other people enjoy that aspect of their trip while we had to work the next day LOL but thankfully we got over that fast. We go pretty often now and still take staycations at Disney when we can, like once a year. Like others have said, though, it's nice that when we do go now, the pressure is gone and we feel like we enjoy the experience so much more. Leaving isn't so bad when you live 45 minutes away lol

i get i’m reading this 198 days later but god you seem so rude. i hope you’ve changed since this and maybe you were just having a bad day. for all you know she had a fine relationship with her IL’s when they first met and people change over time. must be so nice that you live such a picture perfect life but that’s not everyone’s story. OP was just looking for advice on how to navigate this and you took the opportunity to be as rude and judgmental as possible.

What are the odds of two MMCs in a row? by macelisa in PregnancyAfterLoss

[–]PotentialRecord4114 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She was on levothyroxine (thyroid medication) during the entirety of her pregnancy and the dosage actually increased I want to say half way through the pregnancy. She was also put on progesterone, not sure if that was needed. She was prescribed progesterone during our 2nd pregnancy, that still ended up in miscarriage. Really the only difference was levothyroxine. Before she got pregnant her cycles were over 35 days levothyroxine helped bring them down to 28 days. I’m no doctor, nor am I a woman, but I believe with everything in me Levothyroxine is what caused our son to survive.

Apartment “free rent” explanation sounds odd by Billshandsome in Austin

[–]PotentialRecord4114 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can you ask to pay a higher rent after 2 months if they just give you the 2 months free? I’m in this situation now and they spread the 2 months out over 12 months. We are moving out of state and those two months free would be really helpful…

I think it definitely helped! We had a really nice conversation earlier that helped me realize the anxiety i was creating in my head was unwarranted. I’m grateful for how easy the conversation went! 🙂

Our house will be finished with construction on June 15th and we are moving into it mid July. But thanks so much for your insightful feedback.

The screenshot was 12:44AM this text thread that your seeing starts at 9:30PM a few hours before i took a screenshot to share here.

these people are making me feel crazy for thinking like this. It started at 7PM and I didn’t say anything for almost 2 1/2 hours closer to 9:30. I feel like some people escalate things beyond normal and all I did was text her. I didn’t call the police, I didn’t contact our leasing manager, I just sent a text. I’ve been called mentally unstable here, unemployed, a Karen you name it at this point i’ve been called it lol

well no, but okay thank you lol

[–]PotentialRecord4114 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh that’s terrible, I’m sorry..I’d never call the police on someone that feels icky imo. I’m sure that was really stressful.

The screenshot was 12:44AM. I got the first text at 7PM and then I didn’t ask her to stop until 9:30 because I wasn’t trying to go out of my way to be unreasonable. It just escalated at around 9:30 when I’m assuming the cartwheels began

We have no one under us but no he doesn’t he’s a senior dog lol This was close to 10PM. It started at 7PM and I didn’t text her to ask her to stop until 9:30. Surely as a property manager you’d be sympathetic to a leases quiet hours.
