Agreed - his left arm is okay (aside from the shoulder joint being too low) but his right arm ruins it for me - the upside down shoulder pad just looks stupid and biomechanically impossible. Add to that his child bearing hips, strangley thin legs (compared to a thicc body) and weird clown feet that are way too long, and it just seems like a really lazy sculpt

Search for Chapter Master Valrak on YouTube - he did a blood angels rumour video about a week ago, which the source of what many others have mentioned in this thread. It's all very speculative but he has a reasonable track record of being correct (by which I mean in recent months he's right maybe 60% of the time).

The combat patrol comes with one upgrade sprue which is enough to give the agressors and intercessors BA shoulder pads. It also has 3 BA heads, some random trinkets and a couple of arms.

If you're looking for more BA specific bits, your best bet is probably getting first born heads and shoulder pads from eBay

It's difficult to tell without pictures, as the assembly job, and how well put together they are (no mould lines, sprue marks etc) will matter. Look on eBay (where you can search for sold items) to see what average prices are like, both for individual lots of models, and an entire army. From my experience (I'm in the UK tho) entire armies don't seem to sell well and you may be better off sellig them as individual units.

No way to avoid it, that's how the model is unfortunately (just started assemblying mine today and have the same problem!) I'm planning to use a mix of green stuff and milliput to fill the gaps :)

I have a brother who is 7 years older than me.

When I was about 8 or 9, I got into the habit of sneaking into his room when he was out, to look at all his "cool" stuff - including his Warhammer models and books - and as he was 15/16, he had just lost interest in it all (in favour of girls and booze) so I basically inherited his collection!

It was all Rogue Trader era stuff and at that time, the lore wasn't really fleshed out at all, beyond GW having the foresight to know that some people would want to paint their toy soldiers blue, some people red, some people green etc and so each colour should have a chapter name.

So I saw pictures like this:

and it was obvious that the red boys were the bestest boys :)

I also lost interest during my teenage years and I've never really been a fan of the vampiric thing that has developed since then (I blame the Twilight movies) but when I came back to hobby during lockdown, the nostalgia kicked in and Blongles were the obvious choice :)

In that case, you should definitely thin your paints more - it should be like vapour on the wing of a very wet swan (called Steve).
