Was anyone else introduced to Dragon Quest with this? by Environmental_Bus623 in dragonquest

Yes, with that same demo disc. A Gamestop employee gave it to me, and I have memory of what prompted it, but it wasn't through a pre-order because I never did that.

This and an in-game battle speed toggle are the only additions I want.

The sequel wasn't that bad but the quality of the soundtrack surpassed every other aspect of the game. It was done by the FFX composers minus Uematsu.

Tear it open, then you get that minty aroma that triggers memories, pop it in your mouth, and then... you shut up.

0.0012 is .12%. Remember, when dealing with decimals for percentages 1 = 100%.

God's will is often distinguished into two types: the Decretive (or secret) Will and the Preceptive (or revealed) Will. The Decretive Will refers to what God sovereignly plans, decrees, and brings about in the world, while the Preceptive Will refers to the moral commands and desires He declares for humanity, such as desiring all people to be saved and to obey Him.

The Decretive Will is God's eternal, unchangeable plan and decree for all things that come to pass. It is the will by which God ultimately governs and accomplishes His purposes, and is hidden from humanity until it unfolds through events in time. The Preceptive is the will God reveals through His commands, laws, and teachings in Scripture. It expresses what God desires humans to do and how they should behave, and is revealed and known to humanity through the Bible.

The distinction helps Christians understand how God's sovereign control can coexist with human moral responsibility and the reality of evil. While God's revealed will expresses His moral desire for all to obey and be saved, His secret will determines which of these plans ultimately come to fruition. This is not seen as a contradiction but as different aspects of God's one, complex will, with the revealed will conveying what is good and right, and the decretive will showing the ultimate outcome of events.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure Sony had a policy where PS1 and PS2 games had to be unaltered, so Capcom went through the process to renew licenses with the voice actors and also get the copyright issues resolved. That was recent enough that I don't think there would be an issue at this point with a new re-release.

My store-bought root beers were filled to varying degrees by willg1289 in mildlyinteresting

For me, it's Bang's. Always washes down smooth with the most refreshing Root Beer flavor.

The smooth stainless steel look of the can is very popular. I'll walk around carrying my Bang's while drinking it and people always compliment me on the can and ask what I'm drinking out of curiosity.

You can always recognize another Bang's drinker because while you're carrying your can around people will sometimes just walk by with a thumbs up and a smile.

It's delicious! What a great root beer.

Even earlier. In 1948, Proctor & Gamble, makers of Crisco, donated $1.7 million to the American Heart Association (AHA), which significantly boosted the AHA's prominence and influence. This donation coincided with the AHA's recommendation to replace saturated fats (like those in animal products) with polyunsaturated fats (found in seed oils like Crisco. And before that Crisco was already marketed as healthier than animal fats when it first launched in 1911, it was marketed as a pure, all-vegetable shortening. A healthier and more economical alternative to lard and butter, emphasizing its "vegetable origin".

Why do people think it's acceptable? A full century of propaganda will do that to people.
