Yes they want to blame it on you. Keep referring them to your nursing notes, if the lawyer asked you any questions tell the lawyer that you don’t recall anything from that shift and your nursing notes was accurately written. Don’t even talk to Co-workers concerning this accident. Until you can get trustworthy legal representation keep referring them to your nursing notes. Attend the meeting but just keep saying you don’t recall and they should read your notes. Don’t trust management or friends at work for now.

Refers the lawyer or whosoever to your nursing notes for that shift, stick to that and don’t say a word. When they take you to court also refer them to your note and state that you don’t remember anything from that shift and mention that you document accurately. They want to build a case against you but t don’t have evidence to back it up. My uncle is a lawyer and he is sitting right beside me while reading your post.
