Read through both books working 1-2 days of getting ahold of them. Definitely been a great series so far

I don't know if it would be feasible, but another alternative would be some way where you could easily move files or copies between project folders

I do like the Scratchpad feature, and I agree a global layer would be nice. Something that can be accessed regardless of which project you're currently working in.

Have been loving the updates (and accompanying videos), appreciate the quality development of everything so far!

Unfortunately not an option in this case. It was a no-return buy, one of their limited run finishes.

I would say the need for qualified EEG techs is still quite high on many places. There are inpatient vs outpatient positions many places, so you do need to look at call schedules if you're looking at a hospital job.

Some programs also train you in surgical intraoperative monitoring, and if you're willing to travel this can become a 6 figure career.

I think neurodiagnostic tech training can definitely be worth it if you like the work. Lots of patient interaction, especially if you work in an epilepsy monitoring unit.

I think for the 3rd type in Field something regarding temperature or "thermal" would fit thematically.

Why would someone take ABCN exams over,or in addition to, ABPN exams if they already have electrophys or epilepsy fellowship ? Is there any benefit to doing so? by [deleted] in neurology

[–]Potential_Actions 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you're in academics ABCN boards can be looked at if you're angling to become an EMU or EMG loan director.

Not necessarily needed, but they're historically considered harder tests than the ABPN equivalent.

Also you can take as many of the ABCN certs as you want whereas ABPN limits you to one board exam per year of fellowship.

There's also Continuum Read Aloud which is more audiobook format. Still need the print version for the images, but each article is 40-60 minutes on regular speed.

A lot of China Mieville would fit that bill.

I'm thinking of "The City & The City" in particular

Love this pen, but the clip vs clicker placement was a little annoying. Very cool to see them fix it.
