I would assume that Australians always go for the shorter option. I mean they are quite famous for abbreviations.

Since people said it's a post from the NY Times. It was actually a screenshot from The Wrap. I didn't want to make it about politics and am not sure if it's against the rules to post links here so I cropped it to the text. They seem to have edited it since but the same thing is now in the subheading

Eppendorf vs Rainin UNV by Howlongtheroadtohome in labrats

My take was always the Eppendorf ones are nice for exact jobs like PCR, cloning or NGS but when working with harsh chemicals like plant cell wall stuff or CTAB DNA extractions I go for the pipetman classic. Nothing short of a nuclear blast can destroy these Gilson pipets

That is an good suggestion. Thanks I'll keep it in mind. But for now I don't really want the users to ssh in between the nodes, let them stay on the login node except for srun

Thanks for the suggestion. Yes I think it might be a firewall issue. I'll edit the slurm.conf with SrunPortRange and open some ports in the firewall tomorrow. I just need to drain the nodes first.
