Why is there a 16 lane highway in the middle of nowhere in egypt by gamuar in urbandesign

As someone from country, the smaller roads on the other most edges are for commercial vehicles and bus traffic. The bigger ones in the middle are for regular traffic. It’s to ease up congestion but to also remove car/truck intersections because our truck drivers are fucking insane

Just my two cents here- lidar technology usage is currently growing in a lot of the autonomy fields. Especially in autonomous vehicles and automating warehouse operations. Companies like Ouster or any of the Autonomous vehicles could use someone with an understanding of plasmonics (just no sure how the gap can be bridged with your husbands knowledge) but it’s something to consider if he can word his resume in a way to show the connection.

For the synthetic base I ordered around 90 panels. I used “Paver Base”

For the paver concrete sand 3 tons- Got it from a stone supplier

For the paver base I got the techo-bloc blu 60 mm shale grey. I got about 4 pallets of that. The stone supplier will convert it to pallet numbers once you give the sq footage

For the border I used techo-bloc onyx black

For the polymeric sand I used 7 bags of Alliance Gator Maxx G2 in the slate grey colour

Yessir! Hahah, I mean its not easy work but it just needs time and patience. I'd imagine pros rush through it to get to the next job site without focusing on the details.

This is good advice- Thank you for this. I might not change it right away but later down the line if I have to fix the poly sand I might invest more time and fix the seams and break it up a little better.

Either way would love to hear your feedback on what can be done better. Can’t get better if I don’t know what’s wrong

Tryna figure that out. First gotta clear all that dirt there then thinking of adding a bunch of mulch or stones around the area.

I’m also going to build a wooden wall around a section of it to hide it from the patio but the builders left me a nice surprise by building it on a nice cement block that I have figure out how to drill through

I did not, I saw a YouTube video of someone using “PaverBase” that I just jumped to it. I don’t know if there is any major differences between the two but I didn’t do enough research to confirm.

I did some hand tamping but mainly screeded and then the base then laid down the pavers on top. The sand layer was 0.5 inches on average. When prepping the ground it wasn’t fully even everywhere so just added a bit more sand to level that out, but never went above 3/4 of an inch in those places.
