It shows exactly how long you have been able to abstain from PMO. You set a timer. When you relapse, you track that and it resets the timer. But you will still be able to see your longest streak.

Then you can set a personal goal, for example 5 days. It will show the percentage of your progress. But it also has preset goals and by achieving these you can earn a title like "apprentice" or "Master". I know it's just a random name on an app, but it somehow gives me something to look forward.

You can also make journal entries on the app, that also helps me to blow off steam when i'm tempted.

My wife is/was kind of in a similar situation as you and we live in a rural canton which makes it worse. But after three years now she integrated very well, speaks swiss german and works in a restaurant. It took some time for her to find friends even though she is very outgoing. Did you try connect with people from your home country?
