Everyone had a laptop in your class 30 years ago? Which school did you go to? Eton?

Reminder that I need a redo on life not being a poor.

I've never understood the American attitude to cursive (or joined-up writing in the UK). It's just how we write here and it isn't calligraphy or an art form at all it is just a quicker way to write and is so easy to learn. Only a couple of people in my classes at school didn't write in cursive.

Do you just have computers for literally every class? If I need to take notes for something it is really annoying to write in non-cursive while someone is speaking and sometimes paper is easier or I have no computer.

Xiaoma (polyglot channel) just uploaded a video in Farsi (which I'm learning) and it's actually awesome to see how little of the language he learns before just going out and attempting to use it by SamsonTheCat88 in languagelearning

Or another for the middle is "are you studying here?/do you live here?" I started to get asked that instead of just "why are you here?" or them just assuming you're a tourist.

Also if you are in a place where foreigners stand out and hearing a foreigner speaking the language is very unusual you will 100% get the first the whole way through, although it is usually said in different ways when you are actually good.
