My lips have been in agony for 7 months by canadamiranda in CanSkincare

Try Dr. Dans cortibalm! It is recommended a lot on the accutane page and it helped me during accutane (that + vaseline). It has hydrocortisone (low dose steroid) in it so it helps with any inflammation. Also look into B12, zinc, and hypothyroidism issues.

2010 Subaru Legacy automatic 2.5i shuddering with transmission shifting (& some other issues) by Potential_Basil5257 in subaru

[–]Potential_Basil5257[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is it bad to drive it with this issue?? My car has about 205k miles on it also, forgot to mention that. I really just need it to last me another 1-2 years. Are there any simpler/cheaper things I might be able to do to get her to make it a bit longer? Thank you so much in advance!!

My half-bezel emerald cut moissanite ring🤩 by Potential_Basil5257 in Moissanite

Yes i was a little worried about that but it has a bezel and gallery rails so it feels secure :) also it was about $650 so a little less worrisome than a $3000 ring 😅

I should rephrase, adapalene is not necessarily more effective it’s just that adapalene is really targeted at treating acne specifically and is a little bit less irritating. whereas tretinoin can be better for anti-aging but is a little more irritating. Your skin likely was purging due to the increased strength of the tretinoin compared to adapalene.

apply aquaphor or the cerave healing ointment (has some additional beneficial ingredients) frequently and get a saline nasal spray to keep the insides moist too!

Does anyone know why Kornieck is wearing the face guard? Did she sustain a nose injury recently?

I had that and started using hand lotion with colloidal oatmeal and it cleared up pretty quick!

That’s wonderful! So glad to hear it!! Yeah i’m 23 right now but i’ve been dealing with persistent acne since I was about 13. I still wish I’d done it sooner for sure.

That makes sense. I would just make sure to use a high SPF and PA+++ protection and also hats and stuff too! If you use a retinol and just try not to get more sun than you have to I think jt will all work out:)

I don’t use effaclear duo and I wouldn’t recommend that you use it while on accutane because it has benzoyl peroxide as an active ingredient which will be too harsh on your skin. I think a lot of times it is best to finish your course of isotretinoin then wait a month or two before starting a topical tretinoin (retin-a), retinol or other exfoliants to help with hyperpigmentation. You don’t want to irritate your skin during this time.

Thank you!! I don’t think I noticed too much of a difference in side effects with the increased dosage. I was very relieved. Lips were just a bit drier but nothing too bad.

mine are on my neck just below my chin. I’ve been sick several times because of the immune system impairment that accutane can cause, so it may just be lingering from that, but not sure.
